Another week in baby heaven with our little baby bear
During his 2nd week:
*Baby celebrated his first Valentine’s Day! He took some cute matching pj pics with brother and sissy before school.
*We had family photos taken! Baby Christian did so good and was awake and agreeable for most of the session:)
*At his 2-week checkup with Midwife Megan, Christian passed his hearing test and has gained over a pound at 8 lb 5 oz.
*We continue to love all his baby sounds and his smiles and belly laughs while he’s sleeping:) Every single thing he does is precious and cute to mama—even when he pees on her/the bed/the floor when changing his diaper;)
*Started getting little baby pimples right around the 2-week mark (which is a little earlier than brother and sissy who got them around 3 weeks)
*His sleeping/nursing patterns have stayed about the same, nursing every 2-3 hours during the day and every 2-4 hours at night (usually the longest stretch is between his last middle of the night feeding to the time he wakes up to nurse in the morning). He still sleeps most of the day and his longest wakeful times are usually late morning and in the evening before bed.
