First photo shoot!
Day 2
24-hour visit from the midwife—getting footprints 
Day 3
Every day the kids come running through the door from school, hurry to go change clothes and wash their hands and then come see their baby brother.

Day 4 visit from the midwife to check on mama and baby. Baby’s weight was only down 2oz or about 1.7%—healthy boy! He has a little bit of jaundice that we’re watching—hoping for the sun to peek through so we can sit by the window at least.

What a magical week it was!
Things We Love About You: your baby smell, sweet baby breath, little coos, baby bear grunts, and little chick noises, your soft sweet little cry, the noises you make when you’re sleeping and nursing, the way you look at your big brother and sissy when they come to see you, all your little facial expressions, how snuggly and sweet you are, your dark hair and eyes—you look like a little brown bear, your hiccups just like mommy felt in her tummy, how you love to sleep curled up under mommy’s chin, the sweet look of relief when mommy picks you up after changing your diaper (not a fan) or when you’re hungry, I love how in love your big brother and sister are—they love to come in mommy’s room to visit you when you’re sleeping or nursing and are always saying how cute and perfect you are, we love every single thing about you
Nursing: About every 2-3 hours during the day and 3-4 hours during the night, with of course lots of variation
Sleep: Most of the day with most wakeful periods being in the morning and evening
