Here are the highlights from the 2023 holiday season!

After getting back from Mexico , we were ready to get into the full holiday swing! First up was The Night Before Christmas at the Fox by Cirque du Soleil
While the Fox is beautiful and it was fun to take the kids to, cirque du soleil really disappointed on this one. Hoping next year there is a better show to see at the Fox!
The next day was Scarlett’s Christmas piano recital!
She did so great! So proud of our Bunny:)
After Scarlett’s recital, we headed out to Washington MO to Heritage Valley Tree Farm to cut down our Christmas tree. This was our 2nd year and has quickly become one of our most favorite traditions!

Their school also had a special Charlie Brown Christmas breakfast at school that morning, too. Such a fun (treat-filled) day:)

August was frustrated that he couldn’t do it right away, especially seeing other boys (who obviously played hockey) zooming around . But, I thought they both did great for their first time!

August had a case of the stinkies when we got home from dinner and didn’t participate in getting cookies for Santa or reading The Polar Express—better luck next year hopefully!

Luckily he recovered and was more than happy to accept gifts on Christmas morning;)

Looking through all these photos makes me so excited for the coming holiday season! This year I’m happy we don’t have trip planned in December so it should feel a little less hectic🤪 I can’t wait to start planning some fun memories for this year—it will be here before we know it!
