While this wasn’t our favorite trip (Scarlett had a cold made worse by the airplane pressure causing her lymph nodes to swell, mom & dad got Mexican food poisoning, and Playa del Carmen is not the most family friendly location) time at the beach with my family is always time well spent in my opinion:)

Across from the dinner restaurant was an ongoing advertisement for getting to hang out with big cats—while I felt really sorry for the animals it was fun for the kids to get to feed and hold them.

So long, Playa del Carmen! If we ever go back to Mexico , we will definitely stay at a family friendly resort in a quieter location:)
