It’s been almost a month now since our trip but the memories will last forever! It was the perfect mix of tons of fun activities (water park, snorkeling, swimming with dolphins , aquarium and more) and relaxation with what felt like our very own perfect little slice of beach. It was one of those trips where I wasn’t ready to come home by the end of it. It was definitely a trip of a lifetime.
We have arrived! First stop: beach! There was this little area where people had built little rock structures so we added our own:) Waiting for the shuttle Pic by August Outside of The Royal After dinner treat at Poseidon’s Table Water park! August was just a bit too little for the water slides but the rapid river was a huge hit! View from our hotel, The Reef On our way to dinner Sushi at Nobu Sawfish Ice cream and a show! (People were doing karaoke nearby and the kiddos were quite entertained:) Birthday balloons! Happy 6th birthday, August! Birthday breakfast The aquarium was on the bottom floor of The Royal We went snorkeling afterwards and it was so much fun! And then the beach! We went to the marina to get pizza for dinner and walk around a bit. We had to buy the kids whistles because August picked one up and blew on it Not our yacht but we can pretend Happy birthday boy! Mandatory birthday photo shoot:) Birthday ice cream! And we saw Jimmy John having dinner on his yacht Nothing like pancakes with a view:) Getting ready to play with the dolphins! Dinner at the buffet, Poseidon’s Table Visited the little kid arcade after dinner for a bit Another beach day! We also visited the water park everyday but didn’t get many pics there. They played football for over an hour two days in a row—that’s a good workout running through that sand! Snow cones:) Kiddie hot tub There was a little playground outside the hotel Keeping a lookout Lol Dinner at Poseidon’s Table (again:)
Glad we squeezed in a family beach pic! Last shuttle selfie:) Nighttime beach walk Happy Easter! The kids did an Easter egg hunt on the rapid river Our flight out wasn’t until 6:30pm, so after the Easter egg hunt we went for a walk to the predator tunnel aquarium and then visited Poseidon’s Table one last time for Easter brunch before heading to the airport. Dad trying his hand at roulette before we left Relaxing before the long trip home:) They got to see the cockpit!
This trip was one for the books! We will miss you, Bahamas!
