Easter 2022

April 17, 2022

This year the kiddos had fun visiting the Easter Bunny and attending their very first big Easter egg hunt! We attended Easter service on Saturday evening, so Easter Sunday was a stay in pajamas all day kind of day. The babes had a ball going on an Easter basket treasure hunt, hunting for eggs, playing with all the new goodies the Easter bunny brought, dying eggs, and eating delicious bunny cake! It was a nice, relaxing, low-key yet really fun Easter at home.

Waiting to see the Easter Bunny at West County Mall🐰
A little train was conveniently giving rides right by the Easter Bunny so of course the kids were begging to ride:)
And then we had to stop in the little play area they spotted on the way in.
Easter egg hunt after church! We attended the Saturday evening service since they had the egg hunt right afterwards—worked out great!
It was a mad dash! They had to limit kids to 12 eggs to make sure there would be enough for the crowd (not sure how many followed the rules though;)
Pizza at Mod afterwards—fun night for the kiddos!
The Easter Bunny sent them on a treasure hunt to find their baskets. Tricky bunny!
Last clue!
Checking out their baskets.
A new raincoat (which is good considering his old one was size 2T🤦‍♀️) He thought it was another robe at first😆
Always happy about a stuffed animal:)
Testing out the scooters real quick before hunting for eggs.
Easter egg time!
August spotted the golden eggs!
Seeing what’s inside them all.
Scarlett’s golden egg contained an “S” keychain and baby calico critters:)
August’s golden egg had a squishy Hulk and an “A” keychain.
Bunny pancakes!
The kids weren’t interested in helping with the cake this time because they were too busy riding their scooters inside the house all.day.long—but Scarlett did help on some of the finishing touches!
Dying Easter eggs! Using the marbling method again because it looks impressive but is super easy.

Happy Easter to my little bunnies! ❤️🐰💙🐰
