We really missed seeing family this Easter, but we made the most of it and still had a fun day celebrating at home with our little family. Baby chicks, an Easter basket scavenger hunt, egg dyeing, a drive thru Easter egg hunt, and bunny cake all made for a very special Easter. Here are some memories from the day!
The Easter Bunny left clues to help the babes find their baskets! Last clue! Hooray! They found their baskets! The Easter Bunny brought new rainboots, umbrellas, kites, swimsuits, bubbles, yo-yos, and The World of Peter Rabbit book set. The Easter Bunny hid some eggs, too:) The grandma bunnies sent some Easter surprises too! Bunny pancakes:) The kids found joy in immediately destroying the bunny faces;) Dyeing Easter eggs! Dressed to go to the drive thru Easter egg hunt at Pathfinder! We weren’t sure what to expect, but the drive thru egg hunt was really fun! We were greeted by the Easter Bunny and listened to a live band while driving through looking for Easter eggs hidden in bushes and trees. They even decorated our rear windshield! And there was a photo booth! August helping make the carrot cake for our bunny cake. Scarlett joined in for bunny decorating, mostly so she could sneak icing and marshmallows;) Excited about the 23 little Beatrix Potter books!
What a fun day! And here are the outtakes from our home Easter photo shoot:
