We had our first snowfall of the season today! It was supposed to be an inch at the most, but we ended up with at least 3 inches. (Luckily I bought snow pants on a whim a few months ago:) August was so excited when the rain switched over to snow this morning, and he kept running around to different windows (upstairs and downstairs) to get a good view. Scarlett was quite surprised to see Dada to picking her up from school early—and since August had been begging me all morning, as soon as Scarlett got home we went out to play!!

As you can see, August has not yet figured out snow angels, but he still had fun collapsing in the snow and putting his arms in the air in his attempt to do so.
We went out a second time after nap and Buddy joined us—he was in heaven. Such a fun first snow day!
