This past weekend we had quite a snowstorm! After it had finally stopped snowing, we ventured out (just onto our deck:) to build a snowman. This was August’s first time playing in the snow and Scarlett’s second (although Scarlett’s first time was in March 2017 and it was just a little snow—this was her first big snow).

Mittens are tricky;)

August preferred to stay mostly on the sidelines and throw snowballs:)

Scarlett helped shovel snow for the snowman for a minute.

Both of them helped put some snow on the snowman and Scarlett put on the carrot nose.

Scarlett did NOT want the snowman to have a hat.

Much better;)

First hot cocoa experience! August didn’t care for it but Scarlett of course loved it.
