2018 Holiday Season

December 24, 2018

Merry Christmas! The Allsup children had a wonderful holiday season this year. Here’s a recap of all the fun festivities leading up to Christmas Day.

First up: picking out our Christmas tree! We picked a huge 11-12 foot tree—luckily the tree lot where we bought it, Sullivan Farms, offered delivery.

After the tree was set up, we headed to Pacific, MO to visit Santa’s reindeer—a yearly tradition. FD2E3CC0-2972-49A0-BDEA-B4A7E2A28F90 B3704C13-FAF4-4A73-8DED-DD187CADFBCB 1A396308-B7C3-49F1-9545-44E62D650A17 71BB6FEB-C967-4923-A691-1B5D84A86859 DC988CCD-BDE4-4E5D-B5B8-2E9A6E1B06F4 D36F9B51-9DBB-48A4-9E36-3F35E95E15CA

The next morning, Bernard the Elf was back! He usually reappears once we have our Christmas tree. This year Scarlett remembered him and asked if he was going to come back when we got our tree—she also really enjoyed going to find his new spot every morning. August also really got a kick out of some of Bernard’s hiding places:)E3B13B12-4425-4586-B911-D5446AA7D57A 8C1D1FD4-2E9A-4266-AA31-84C592285C42 BA40F53C-08DD-446C-AC5D-A6C887301CBC 277E92AF-792F-4E54-BCF5-7D943E6864E6

After the kids’ first haircuts, we made a pit stop to visit Santa! Scarlett wasn’t sure about him at first, but he started talking to her while she was waiting in line and she warmed up to him a bit more. The next morning we went to see Santa again at breakfast with Santa at the Zoo. Unfortunately it was a bit rainy this year so we didn’t get to see the animals afterwards, but we had a fun time at breakfast!
