We had such a nice time visiting Grandma and Poppy at The Villages this year!
When we arrived, the kids discovered that Santa had come a little early to The Villages;)
After nap we went out for a quick spin in the golf cart.
Then back over to grandma and poppy’s for quesadillas and to play with all their new stuff.
Of course the kids were very interested in the cat:)
The next day we went to the park to play and test out the Mickey bubbles!
Another post-nap golf cart ride.
Grandma and Poppy treated us to dinner at Thai Ruby—our traditional Villages dinner spot.
Heading over to the square for (more) dancing and music.
Then some ice cream, of course:)
Then back to grandma & poppy’s to hang out some more before bed. August requested to be shirtless for the remainder of the evening.
The next morning we went to the orange grove to pick some satsumas and grapefruit!
Then back to grandma and poppy’s for lunch and a painting project!
For our last night in The Villages we enjoyed some cookie decorating, homemade pizza, and lots of quality time with Grandma and Poppy!
Thanks Grandma and Poppy for such a fun visit! Can’t wait until the next time!
The next morning, we headed back to Orlando to visit Universal before flying back home the following morning. We had lots of fun in Dr. Seuss land—including seeing the Grinchmas show—and of course visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter where we had some butterbeer & pumpkin juice and stopped in The Three Broomsticks for lunch and browsed Ollivander’s wand shop.
Heading back home—can’t wait for next year’s Florida trip!
