Disney World—still talks about it almost daily
Watching movies on the weekends—will finally sit still and focus for longer periods (her current favorites, aka most recently watched, are Little Mermaid and Moana)
Looking at pictures and videos of herself and August
Sliding—both at the park and her slide (she has been known to slide continuously for an hour when we get her slide out)
Having tea with her stuffed animals, Candy Land, cooking in her kitchen, scribbling or painting on her easel, playing cars in the hallway with August
Helping mama & dada cook on her kitchen stool
Playing with other kids
Staring at people when out and about

Dislikes:

When you tell her/ask her to do something she doesn’t like (“Don’t say that!” she’ll say)
The Pirates of the Caribbean—she still talks the water splashing her on the ride two months later
When you don’t share your food with her

A Few Current Scarlettisms:

Giving commands, for example: “Don’t say that!”, “You turn around and make coffee”, “Go make dinner”, etc.
When Dada walks through the door she’ll immediately stop what she’s doing and run to go tell him what she’s doing or a highlight of her day so far (Dada usually has no idea what she’s talking about)
When she is in her pretend play “zone” it is the funniest/cutest thing to watch and listen to her detailed monologue whilst cooking in her kitchen, setting up tea for her stuffed animals, taking care of bear, etc.
Playing with August, helping with August, taking toys away from August and then giving him a replacement toy when he gets mad, giving August hugs & kissies all day, wanting to have matching pajamas, hurrying in to greet him after his nap and saying “hi little boy”
Whispering “Yeah” when you ask her something (even when the answer is no)
Likes to “help herself” to things such as putting lotion on her face by herself when she’s not supposed to (including “summer lotion” that she found in mama’s purse—her reply when asked what the white stuff on her nose was), taking nips of her flavored toothpaste when she thinks no one is looking (she snuck the tube into her tent the other day…), getting mama’s hairpins and trying to pick locks, taking tags of clothing at home & at the store, etc.
Has a few different voices she likes to talk in
Requests random healthy things that mama & dada eat/drink such as kombucha, apple “spider” (apple cider vinegar), and honey mixed with fermented cod liver oil (she thinks it’s a treat! 😂
