August is 44 weeks old today!
This week, August:
- Turned 10 months old! (update coming soon)
- Visited The Butterfly House for the first time! 🦋
- Had a Super Bowl Baby play date with baby Sophia
- Started reaching for stuff on top of surfaces and putting his hands on the edge of his crib—he’s entering the pulling up stage
- Has started escaping from the playroom to try to explore other areas of the apartment
- Is constantly getting up on his hands and knees but other than a few forward steps, is still army crawling
- Really gaining hand-eye coordination lately, i.e. his ability to throw objects, attempts the shape sorter, has gotten balls throw some of his “ball through the hole” type toys
- Is “talking” nonstop!

Fun at the Butterfly House! Scarlett liked it much better than the last time we were there & August loved watching all the butterflies fly around.
