Augut is 42 weeks old!
This week, August:
- Started pointing
- Officially pushing up to sitting from both belly & back—was sitting up in his crib for the first time when mama went to get him the other night
- Has been using a pincher grasp to pick at things—started giving him small pieces of food to practice with today
- Has been making a Donald Duck sound frequently this week
- Tried out a new indoor play place that had play areas for both toddlers & babies (and coffee for the moms!)
- Has gotten really good at throwing his toys
- Doesn’t want to sit still to read books lately
- Has been playing peekaboo by putting something over his face and laughing when mama takes it off and says peekaboo!
A few snapshots from August’s 42nd week:
Happy boy!
Luckily Scarlett doesn’t have a tender head because August enjoys yanking handfuls of her hair:)
Clap Clap Clap!
Sneaking in some storytime after nap before sissy is awake and while he’s still a little sleepy and content to sit still for a few minutes:)
Playing with the ball while mama folds laundry.
He loves playing under the blanket:)
At Dr. Stefanie’s office to take a look at his eye that still has a blocked tear duct—Scarlett was excited to be there.
He is happy to have his drumstick again (Buddy chewed up the original).
Showing off his pointing skills with Grandma and Poppy.
Checking out a new play place—Urban Fort Play Cafe. August was happy that he had some stuff to play with too!
