The fun continued as we entered the weekend before Christmas. On Christmas Eve Eve, we woke up to the first snow of the year! Mama took Scarlett to go pick out Christmas presents for Dada, August, and Grandma & Poppy and then we went to lunch at Picasso’s—I think this will be a new tradition:)
Aunt Jessica, Uncle Greg, and Liam drove in on Saturday so we met them and Grandma & Poppy later that night at Anheuser Busch to see some lights!
On Christmas Eve, we woke up to more snow!
We watched a little of Dada’s favorite Christmas movie after breakfast, Arthur Christmas.
Then we headed over to grandma and poppy’s for the day to visit with Liam, Aunt Jessica and Uncle Greg.
After a nap, it was time to get dressed up in our holiday best for the children’s service at church. It was a great service for kids, complete with puppies (yes, there were puppies!!)
After church we went back to grandma and poppy’s for some Italian food and more playtime.
Then it was time to hurry home to bed so that Santa could come! But first: matching pjs, The Night Before Christmas, and cookies & milk for Santa and carrots for Rudolph:)
And then at long last, it was Christmas morning! After a late night, both babies slept in and August had to go wake Scarlett up which she was pretty excited about:)
Then it was time to see if Santa had paid a visit the night before…
Looks like Santa found our apartment:)
After emptying their stockings, Scarlett and August exchanged gifts (Scarlett picked out a moose for August and August got a piggy for sissy).
Santa brought Scarlett a dollhouse and August a lion rocker!
Then some presents from Mama and Dada.
Buddy even got some presents from Santa:) 969C2F2A-4BAE-49F2-89BE-EB53C963F6B8
After all the Santa excitement, August was ready for a little snoozle before heading over to Grandma and Poppy’s to continue the Christmas festivities.
After some play and naptime, it was time for more PRESENTS!!
What a wonderful Christmas we had this year! The whole month of December was filled with family and fun. So blessed are we to have two beautiful babies to celebrate with—they make every day feel like Christmas morning❤️
