August had a fun and spooky first Halloween and Scarlett enjoyed her third year of dressing up and trick-or-treating!
The night before Halloween we went to see a local house that goes all out for the holiday (evidently their decorations are worth more than the house). Both babies weren’t really sure what was going on;)
On Halloween day, we stopped at a nursery near grandma and poppy’s house to get a pumpkin since Scarlett was sick over the weekend and we didn’t get a chance to go to the pumpkin patch this year. She picked out a great looking squash!
Then we were off to grandma and poppy’s to get started on the carving. Scarlett picked out a cat face for mama to carve and she did a good job helping get the goop out of the pumpkin.
After a nap and chili for dinner, it was time to get suited up! It was a chilly night so both babies wore layers underneath their costumes. It was a little tricky stuffing August into his elephant with his coat on—he was not thrilled about this:) But once he was dressed, August was the sweetest elephant and Scarlett was the most beautiful fairy princess you’ve ever seen!
Examining her haul:)
