August is 17 weeks old!

This week, August:

• Is really testing out those vocal cords with an array of different sounds! He’s been singing and talking in his bassinet when he wakes up in the morning and letting out a bunch of random squeals, gurgles, giggles, and loud coos throughout the day.
• Still dealing with sore gummies and therefore drooling & putting everything in his mouth
• Enjoying grabbing his toes
• Still working on rolling over–he’s gotten pretty close on both his back and tummy
• The past few weeks he has stopped automatically going to sleep while out and about in the baby carrier–is starting to require more of a set nap schedule here soon I think:( He typically won’t nap in his bassinet so naps often occur in the car, baby carrier, Boppy, bouncer, or on mama. We’re going to get him a crib soon so hopefully he’ll have a more comfortable/consistent napping spot.
• Met mama’s friend Maggie this week–she’s going to have a baby in February!
