August is 7 weeks old today!
This week, August:
- Has been trying really hard to find his thumbie
- Baby acne cleared up!
- A lot less fussy since his visit to the chiropractor 👍🏼
- Loves to be talked to and sung to
- Nursing: Every 1-3 hours during the day, and 3-5 hours during the night, typically
- Sleep: Still sleeps the majority of the time, but still continues to increase his periods of wakefulness. Often awake for 2-3 at night before bed (which is still around 11:30pm) and a few 1-2 hour periods throughout the day. Has been sleeping for longer periods at night (3-5 hours) before waking to nurse/change diaper
- His dry scalp improved greatly after gently rubbing with a washcloth during bath, brushing, and then some coconut oil
- Prefers being held and being able to see mama/Dada if put down

Luckily he doesn’t mind being in the baby carrier—a must-have at times!
