After weeks of being very intrigued by all the pumpkins “pumpies”, ghosts, and other Halloween decor, Scarlett had so much fun on her second Halloween!
On Halloween day, Scarlett helped carve her first pumpkin!🎃 She loved scooping (“stoop”) out the insides with the big orange spoon.
Hmmm let’s see what this stuff tastes like.
Not very good actually.
The finished product!
Grandma and Grandpa came over with a lot of goodies for dinner: guacamole, chicken chili, and caramel apples! After Bunny finished eating, she suited up for the main event!
Even though this was technically Scarlett’s second time trick-or-treating, this year she was able to somewhat understand what was going on:) It didn’t take her long to catch on how to trick-or-treat, that’s for sure! She loved walking up to people’s front porch and taking candy from their bucket all by herself:)
Taking a quick break.
After trick-or-treating, Scarlett and Dada sat on the front porch for awhile to hand out candy to the other trick-or-treaters. Dada also let Scarlett have her first taste of candy from her stash:)
Superman had to stay inside, where he barked at all the kids who came to the door.
Scarlett was super pumped after such a fun night of trick-or-treating, pumpkins, and candy, that she stayed up past 9:00, showing no sign of tiredness until she hit the crib. She enjoyed taking everything out of her bucket, examining it, putting the candy in random areas of the house, and then putting them back in the bucket, multiple times.
Spider web glasses and Halloween stickers were favorites:)
Happy Halloween, Bunny!!!
