Scarlett’s First Easter

Sunday, March 27, 2016

Unfortunately, our whole family was recovering from the flu for Scarlett’s first Easter. Luckily we were able to see the Easter Bunny on Thursday right before our bunny got sick.

We had planned on having Grandma and Grandpa over for brunch today, but had to postpone it until next weekend. It actually works out nicely because Max and Lindsey will be back in town by then for our belated Easter celebration!

While Scarlett’s first Easter ended up being pretty low-key, she still had a blast “finding” her Easter basket and playing with all her new goodies!

Easter morning:

Hey what’s that?   It’s a bunny!

Let’s see what’s in this bunny.

Books, bubbles, and bells! Mama knows me so well;)

Baby’s first photo album with pictures of everyone in our family.

My first swimming suit–I’m ready for the beach!

Testing out my new bubbles.

Giving my basket bunny kissies for giving me all those cool new things.

Reading about why we celebrate Easter in my children’s bible I received when I was baptized.

Happy Easter to our very own Easter Bunny! It was the best Easter yet because you’re here:)

  1. So that picture of the man sticking his head out the window after the crucifixion is LIam’s favorite page. I will turn to it and he will point to that big putchy nose and then point to his nose. So sweet that you guys are reading that together. Love you sissy!
