I am 35 weeks old today!

  
I also turned 8 months old today! (update later this week)

Besides turning 8 months, this week I:

• Have been jibber-jabbering up a storm! I’m making so many different sounds and having entire baby jibberish conversations with myself and anyone else who will listen 
• Moving like crazy–I can’t sit still! Still backwards crawling but making some progress–getting up on my hands and knees more often, trying to push up to sitting, and doing 360s
• Had my first negative reaction to food (eggs we believe) and threw up for the first time:(
• Started making a motor boat sound with my lips
• Getting better at imitating mommy and daddy 
• Starting to participate in interactive books and songs a little (Pat the Bunny, itsy bitsy spider)

Playing with Ellie the elephant that aunt Lindsey got me for Christmas–she goes along with the book “Where’s Ellie?” which I like to read over and over with mama

Partying with the grown ups on NYE. Mommy and daddy foolishly tried to put me to bed right away but I wasn’t having it (stayed up til 10)

Trying to drink dada’s water, so mama let me try out my sippy cup for the first time (I mostly just wanted to chew on it)

First time throwing my food–I was trying to tell mama that I don’t like eggs (and later threw them up)
