Happy 4th of July! Scarlett is 2 months old today:)

At Two Months, Scarlett…

Weighs: 12 lbs. 9 oz.

Measures: 22.5 inches

Head: 15 inches

Loves:

• Raffi radio (especially “Down By the Bay” and “Willaby Wallaby Woo”)
• Carseat
• Looking at ceiling fans/lights
• Watching intently as mommy and daddy talk to her
• Batting at Mo the monkey, Leopold the lion, Zeb the zebra, and Wally the whale on her play mat
• “Talking” (she tries really hard to say “hello”)
• Being held–preferably on mommy & daddy’s right shoulder as they walk around bouncing me or sleeping on their chests while they are sitting is also acceptable
• Sucking my thumbie
• Bath time
• Being naked on changing table

Dislikes:

• Gas (bicycling her legs helps!)
• Being hungry
• Tummy time
• Not being near mommy or daddy at all times

Activity:

• Starting to lift head more, especially when being held
• Batting at objects, i.e. animals on play mat
• Grasping things and holding on to them
• Baby talk, tries to mimic sounds mom & dad make (“hello”)
• Smiles a lot when being talked to
• Good eye contact and can follow your gaze if you move
